Gimmick: Jun Nobunaga is a eccentric young man with a simplistic need and goal in life. Jun always loved art. As a young man he devoted all of his free time to developing his paintings. Jun possessed quite the colorful, radical style when it came to his creations. And after so many times of being told by his superiors that he would never cut it as an artist and make it to any prestigious galleries he snapped. Jun’s entire psyche became warped. When failing at the one thing he longed to do in life, he began to look for any way to make a living for himself. Local wrestling promoters saw him as a handsome young man with a good body and the potential to become a talented worker over time. And so Jun’s training for the wrestling business began. At first he was not very interested in making it in the industry, doing it purely to make a living and get by in life, until he began to see the art of wrestling. Jun also felt his stress relieving as he could take out his frustrations in life on his opponents and be rewarded for it.
Jun over time gravitated towards the storytelling aspect of wrestling and always strived to make himself character-centric. As many of his promoters told him defining who he was and not just being a good worker was the only way to get anywhere meaningful in the business. And so Jun worked to discover who he was. What was his niche? What set him apart from everyone else in the world? What made Jun Nobunaga stand out in wrestling? Adopting aspects of his past, such as his accentuating his more crazed, jaded, and weird side and making it his dominant personality traits. Combining it with his bright and colorful fashion sense as well as his natural body language and facial expressions, Jun has made himself into a very dynamic personality. This combined with his well defined hard hitting style transformed him into one of the most complete package wrestlers in just about any promotion he worked for.
Jun fancies himself an artist still to this day. Dubbing himself Ātisuto. As Jun believes what he does in the ring every time he competes is not only art, but an absolute masterpiece. As he commonly likes to state, the ring is his canvas, he is his own brush, and the blood of his opponents is what he uses as his paint. Nothing brings Jun more joy in life than to crack his elbow against his opponents head. One thing that Jun loves to do whenever possible in a contest is to lick any blood shed in a match if it is shed of course. And he enjoys forcing others to feel the same pain he felt in failing to achieve his childhood dreams. Whether it be causing physical pain to his opponents or mental/emotional pain to the fans who watch him tear apart their favorites. Jun’s goal is simply to show the world that his art is...AN EXPLOSION!
