Gimmick: Matías is man that came from nothing at first. He had no home, no friends or family. The only way he could earn enough money to fill his stomach was by participating in back alley fights. He was good at it too. After one of his fights, a scout from a wrestling company offered him a contract because they had faith he could make the transition. They were right. He was a natural at it. The fans fell in love with him. They cheered him on match after match. He flew up the ranks in a hurry. Around at the peak of his popularity, his contract was up. Rival companies were trying to pry him away, so his current employer had to fork over a boat load of cash so he wouldn’t leave. After his big payday, his performance declined, giving the fans the impression that he’s just about the money. So in response, they turned their backs on him. The loud applause that he once got turned into crickets. The fans no longer even held their hands out for high fives. At first, Matias took this hard because he viewed his fans as family...his everything, but he quickly got over it. To stick it to the fans, he often just phoned in his matches because he thought they weren’t worthy enough to watch his best effort. If he lost a match, he didn’t care because he was still getting paid. He racked up loss after loss and he didn’t give a single fuck. The company he was working for eventually got sick of him half-assing it, so they decided to release him. Now after two years of being away from the professional wrestling scene, SSW came calling, hoping they can screw his head on straight so he can finally live up to his potential. Biggest problem with Matias is you never know which version of him you are getting. One night he can put on an instant classic and the next he puts up a dud.

About: A slimy businessman/former actor who you just want to knock out. Being a manager/mouthpiece is his calling, since he just loves to run his mouth. In the past, his choice of words would often land him in hot water and the next thing he knows, he's getting his ass kicked. But now being paired with Matias, he doesn't have to worry about physical altercations because he knows Matias will step in on his behalf. Mr. Navarro is everything Tomas wished he was: good looking, successful, and physically gifted. In Tomas' delusional mind, he himself is a professional wrestler, meaning Tomas basically lives through Matías and his success. How their partnership came about is one of Tres Comas' investors assigned Tomás to Matías, knowing it would be beneficial to both parties. Tomás will get more exposure and fame by being on weekly television and now Matías, who can sometimes come off as lazy, doesn't have to worry about the talking aspect as much since Tomas will take care of it, leaving him to focus on his in-ring work.
